Temple Tree Resort & Spa, Bentota

My stay at this hotel was quite an experience, but unfortunately, it was filled with numerous issues. The room had a beautiful ocean view, which was the highlight of my stay, but the lack of hot water and unpleasant smells from the drains were major drawbacks. While I did enjoy the pool area and found some meals to be good, the service from the staff was overall unhelpful and rude, which put a damper on the entire visit. I wouldn't recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

The hotel offers a decent stay with a lovely beachfront and a clean, well-maintained pool area. The staff is attentive and eager to assist, making the overall service commendable. However, the rooms need some refurbishment, and the dining experience could benefit from more variety. While the hotel provides a peaceful atmosphere, its location may feel isolated for those seeking more activity.

I had a fantastic stay at the resort, which was right on the beach with stunning sea views. The rooms were comfortable, and the service provided by the staff was exceptional, particularly when they went the extra mile for my son's birthday. However, some aspects like the evening pool hours could be improved, and the restaurant food quality varied. Overall, it's a great choice for a family vacation in Sri Lanka.
